Nov.9                Los Angeles Departure                                (meals on board)
We’ll meet at China Airlines check-in counter 3hours prior to the departure                 
time. Flight departs for Chiang Mai via Taipei at late evening on Nov.9.

Nov.11                Chiang Mai Arrival                                        (meals on board/D)
After crossing the International Dateline and change planes in Taipei, we arrive at
Chiang Mai International Airport  before noon time and will be transferred to the
hotel.  Balance of the day free until pick-up for a Welcome Khantok Dinner. After
dinner we’ll join with the launching of lanterns to worship Phrathat Chulamani, and
take in the competition of a Yi Peng procession, as well as getting experience of
Lanna (Northern Thai) cultural performance and various forms of entertainment.

Nov.12                Chiang Mai-Doi Suthep Temple                        (B/L)
After breakfast, we’ll travel to visit Chiang Mai’s most famous and most visible
landmark, Wat Phrathat Doi Suthep, situated 15 km.from downtown and is 3,520
feet above sea-level.  The temple is approached by a flight of 290 Naga-flaked
steps and is dominated by golden Chedi (pagoda) which contains holy Buddha
relics. Lunch will be served at local restaurant.  After lunch, return to the hotel and
free at leisure.
Optional Chiang Mai Nightlife or Traditional Thai Massage is available.  (Please
contact your tour manage for the arrangement).

Nov.13                Chiang Mai                                                (B/L/D)
Breakfast at the hotel, then take a ride to the Mae Sa Elephant Camp, and  watch
this magnificent animals work at their jobs and bathe in the stream. On the way
back to the hotel, we’ll stop at an orchid farm.  Lunch, will be served at local
restaurant.  Late afternoon, return to the hotel, balance of the day at your own
leisure until dinner time.

Nov.14                Chiang Mai-Doi Tung-Chiang Rai                        (B/L/D)
We’ll have an early breakfast at the hotel, check-out and travel by air conditioned
coach directly to Doi Tung, the northern mountain offers several attractions,
including Doi Tung Royal Villa, designed in an architectural  combination of
Northern Thai & Swiss chalet styles.  Lunch will be served at local restaurant then
we continue to Chiang Rai to lodge at Rim Kok Hotel.  After check-in, free at leisure
until dinner time.

Nov.15                Chiang Rai-Bangkok                                        (B/L/D)
Very early breakfast at the hotel, today we’ll tour to the Golden Triangle, this famous
riverside spot marks where the borders of Thailand, Lao PDR and Myanmar
(Burma) meet at the junction of the Mekong River. After lunch, continue our tour to
the border town across the Mae Sai River. The town market (Mae Sai) presents
great shopping of local products. Late afternoon, return to the hotel for check-out
then transfer to Chiang Rai airport for departure flight to Bangkok. Upon arrival, we’ll
be transferred directly to the hotel.

Nov.16                Bangkok-Floating Market                                (B/D)
We’ll start an early morning tour to a colorful rural floating market at Damnoen
Saduak in Ratchaburi province, located southbound from Bangkok.  At this floating
market, you can enjoy and experience tropical fruits, flowers, orchids, foods,
including several kinds of noodles from the vendors that commute along the canal.
Shopping for souvenir and local products from the stores near by the river bank is
part of our schedule today. Lunch will be on your own at this place. Afternoon, we’ll
return to Bangkok to visit the Royal Grand Palace, still use for coronations and
home of the city most sacred temple with the Emerald Buddha image.  Before
arrive at the hotel, we’ll stop by the Gems Factory.  This evening, every tour
members are invited to a farewell dinner party sponsors by the Tourism Authority of
Thailand.

Nov.17                Bangkok Departure                                        (B)
After breakfast we’ll check-out and transfer to Bangkok International Airport                 
for the departure flight to USA or your next destination.
